Expansive mortar exhibits effective force that escalates with the increase in borehole diameter. We often hear from customers inquiring whether a drilling diameter of 25 mm would yield satisfactory results. Our product is tailored for the demolition of concrete and rock specifically with borehole diameters ranging from 30 mm to 40 mm. Nonetheless, we have established buffer zones on either side, allowing our expansive mortar to effectively perform with both larger and smaller borehole diameters. Utilizing smaller diameters may lead to extended times for concrete demolition, rock fracture, or notably, the demolition of reinforced concrete, taking several hours more than anticipated. For more extensive projects, such as rock excavation, borehole diameters near 45 mm are commonly employed with drilling rigs. Although our product has been validated for use with diameters up to 50 mm, we kindly advise contacting us beforehand for such scenarios.
