The refueling and unloading interface is a dedicated equipment for tank trucks that have to fill the station's LNG tank. It can be located more or less close to the tank according to the regulations in force, and can integrate many performance and ergonomic options. This offload interface is also proposed mounted on a deported skid.
The Subtran™ pump, manufactured by Cryostar, is a complete unit mounted on a base frame. This submersible pump is installed in a vacuum insulated sump, which allows the pump to start instantaneously thanks to its continuous cold maintenance. This submerged pump can be used on its own, in redundancy of another pump, but also in parallel of another pump in order to increase the flows of the station. The Subtran pump technology has been designed with the aim of limiting heat input as much as possible and gives an incomparable lifetime.
The SatNow™ is a patented system that converts cold LNG at -162°C (3 bar) to saturated LNG at -125°C (8 bar). The SatNow has the particularity of performing this operation without having to convert LNG into gas. Thus, the SatNow ensures 0% loss during transformation, and therefore guarantees 100% liquid in the vehicle's tank. In this way, the station is able to supply fuel to vehicles, regardless of the technology used.
CRYOSTAR Dispenser 3.0 designed for LNG and bio-LNG, fuels vehicles in a total safety with very high accuracy thanks to its patented technology.
Thanks to its interactive touch screen and the step-by-step instructions animations displayed, refuelling as never been easier.
With safety at the heart of our concerns, we have optimized the equipment's maintenance to ensure an ever longer lifespan.
Self-sufficient thanks to its integrated electronic card, the Dispenser 3.0 can be easily integrated into any station.

The LNG distributor allows vehicles to be refueled with cold and / or saturated LNG. This patented system has been designed to guarantee maximum safety and the best possible ergonomics for the user.
The electronic board CRYOFUELTRONICS™ developed by Cryostar allows the station to operate autonomously. Equipped with an IFSF communication system, the dispenser is able to interact with the payment system: the whole system is approved according to the MID directive.
The dispenser has been designed to ensure a flow rate of 160 l/min. (i.e. a filling time of 3 minutes for a 450-liter tank). The dispenser has been designed to ensure a flow rate of 160 l/min. (i.e. a filling time of 3 minutes for a 450-liter tank).

The heat exchanger, also known as a vaporizer, consists of aluminum fins mounted around high-strength stainless steel inner tubes. This element allows the change of state of the Natural Gas via the stainless steel tubes. Through this process, the heat exchange is done by natural convection and allows delivering a pressure up to 420 bars during a continuous 8h period. It can be coupled with an electric heater if the ambient temperature is too low.
The CNG buffer storage area consists of bottles filled with CNG at 300 bar.
When filling a vehicle with CNG, the dispenser draws fuel directly from the buffer. Once the tank is full, the upstream elements compress and gasify the LNG in order to refill the buffer storage.
As the compression and regasification process takes time before it starts, the use of a buffer storage is necessary to reduce the waiting time for the user when filling the vehicle with CNG.
Through this element, which is one of the key components of the station, we want to integrate Cryostar's expertise in terms of cryogenics but also LNG and LCNG process safety so that all our customers can benefit from it.
The electrical cabinet is the brain of the station and consists of the following main components: power supply, I/O cards, PLC (Siemens), ATEX safety barrier, industrial touch screen PC with hard disk for data recording and ADSL modem for remote monitoring / maintenance.
Thanks to these elements, the system is able to ensure a maximum level of safety of the station, to control the pressure, flow rate, and temperature of the station components, to allow the Ethernet modem (ADSL) to connect for remote monitoring. Various options can be added on request such as the management of surveillance cameras, accessibility on smartphone, allowing controlling the equipment related to the use of LNG and / or CNG.
