I'm pouring a concrete pad Monday to extend some cattle sort pens. I've got the vet coming Wednesday afternoon to work some calves and cows.

I would like to set up the posts and panels to use Wednesday.

How soon after pouring concrete can I drill holes and install concrete anchors to bolt down the posts? We will have it poured by noon Monday, and could install anchors as late as Wednesday morning.

I can delay the vet a week if I need to wait longer before installing the anchors to allow the concrete to harden.

Installing Anchors into Uncured Concrete

The contractor has doweled anchors with HIT-HY 200 MAX adhesive into 4,500 psi concrete (1) day after the concrete has been poured. Per ACI 318, concrete should be a minimum of (21) days old. Is there any way to evaluate the possible reduction in anchor capacity due to the concrete not being fully cured at the time of anchor installation? Are there any known failure modes associated with installation into the uncured concrete?
