With a net load capacity of 300 or 500 pounds, safety and convenience are the hallmark of this unit designed for multi-floor businesses. Cars are standard in powder-coated steel and available in optional stainless steel. Either bi-parting or slide-up gates are required. Commercial hoistway doors are available to complete the package for safety and code compliance.
The dumbwaiter's winding drum drive system and heavy-duty steel guide rails are designed for longevity and efficiency in commercial use. Homeowners find this model ideal as well when larger and heavier loads will be moved in the residence.
Lifting medical or legal records, prepared food, wheeled carts, firewood, groceries or laundry the dumbwaiter has the size and weight capacity for most tasks.
Our residential dumbwaiters are available in powder-coated steel, or stainless steel cars. These units have the lift capacity of 100 or 200-pound net loads. They include a roll top gate (standard) or you can upgrade to a metal bi-part gate. A removeable & adjustable metal shelf is also available. Safety is assured with standard slack cable monitoring device, car safeties, top final-limit switches, and UL® /cUL® certified controllers.
The dumbwaiter excels at transporting everything from delicate items, foods, files or laundry from floor to floor, to heavy items such as groceries, firewood in a residential application.
Misconception and budget pressure quite often influences specified materials of construction for various wastewater treatment plant equipment. The goal of the entire Project Team is to deliver the Owner a quality design, then quality equipment, provided within budget, delivered compliant to the project schedule, that commissions successfully, requires an expected level of maintenance and operates as intended. These requirements can be achieved while utilizing either Stainless Steel construction or painted Carbon Steel construction. The question of Life Cycle Costs can and should be asked on almost every piece of equipment. The 300 Series of stainless steel, 304(L) and 316(L), are generally selected as materials for construction due to their good corrosion resistance and moderate abrasion resistance. Both are effective materials for the static hopper construction and live-bottom feeder shell construction.
Live bottom screws are subject to far more abrasion and construction materials should be selected accordingly. Carbon steel, and specifically abrasion resistant (AR) carbon steel is the better construction material selection. The high carbon content AR steel performs well in the live bottom feeder screw application at a lower cost than 300 Series stainless steel.
