WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF THE CORRUGATED SIDEWALL CONVEYOR BELT IS DAMAGED?
Corrugated wallside conveyor belt, also called skirt conveyor belt, is a conveyor belt that is easy to design into a complete conveyor system, which can effectively avoid conveyor discontinuities and complex lifting systems. The system has the characteristics of fast installation speed, large conveyor inclination angle, small footprint, effective reduction of civil investment, flexible layout, and small maintenance capabilities. Effectively reduce energy consumption.
When you need to transport material at steeper angles than is possible with conventional conveyor belts, sidewall belts are the way to go. Their cross-stiff base belt and corrugated rubber sidewalls combine with a variety of different-sized cleats to ensure your material stays in place.
1. The base belt edge (empty edge position) of corrugated sidewall conveyor belt is damaged.
If the edge of the conveyor belt is only slightly damaged and broken, it is necessary to observe whether the conveyor belt deviates in the process of operation and whether it is damaged by external forces. If torn edge position is empty, then to observe the transmission line pressure pulley is double pulley. In principle, the bandwidth is greater than 500 mm above do not use the single pressure belt wheel, wheel pressure role mainly in the conveyor belt groove section, to prevent the conveyor belt, ribbon. If the baseband wide, adopts unitary pulley, the stress point focused on the empty side of the baseband. If thickness slants thin, will be easy to tear and damage. If the use of double entry, in the process of operation within the wheel pressure on the top of the group, just to make uniform stress points, won't appear empty torn edge position.
2. Sidewall edge and baffle of corrugated conveyor belt are torn off.
The site should observe whether the Corrugated wallside conveyor belt is running smoothly, whether the conveyor belt is derailed, whether it matches the effective bandwidth and pressure pulley, whether the diameter of the drum meets the specified parameters, the operation of the conveyor belt when it returns, whether the baffle is corrugated in the return trip, and the stiffness of the base belt itself. On the return trip, if the baffle is wavy, it is easy to damage the baffle. If the baffle is hard, it is easy to break from the bottom.
3. The base belt of the corrugated sidewall conveyor belt is broken at the bottom.
It should be observed whether the diameter of the drum is small and the bending stress of the conveyor belt is too large, resulting in fracture; observe the non-working surface of the base belt to see whether there are obvious traces on the base of the separator. If too obvious, it means that the pressure of the secondary vulcanized separator is too high, resulting in the damage of the conveyor belt at this position; the canvas is too large and the stiffness is not correct, resulting in fracture. Or there is no cleaning device on the conveying line, causing scratches on hard objects and causing cross-cutting.
